    that was just a trial run to see if a night time show would be something i could fit into my schedule. I think saturday night is a bit too limiting though.

    it’s a lot easier to commit to an early morning show since i don’t really need all that much sleep so i can go to as many concerts as i want.

    on a barely related note: you once mentioned that it would be strange to hear me on the air when i’m not actually there…. well, somebody deleted all my show recordings off the studio computer so a) we don’t have to worry about that being a problem anymore (that’s the plus side) b) that evil “nobody’s here” comp gets played even more (that’s the down side)

    i actually built a handy little automation system (it runs off a shuffled 3,000 song library right now) for when nobody’s there so we don’t have to listen to twisted sister and the opium den every day… unfortunately nobody seems all that interested in implementing it. (update: after popping in to the station this evening we did some testing and it looks like they *are* going to use it.)
